Training
We went on divisions this week with the Sister training leaders. It was
so good! I went with Sister Gange, she is from Hawaii. We talked to so many
people...we talk to so many people every day! We talked to a real
interesting guy that we taught when we
went door knocking.
This week we also had training in Lisbon. We talked about how we need
to be speaking our language all the time. This is something that I need to do
better. Ugh, the language stresses me out so much. I just need to open my
mouth!!
After the training we went to the mall and it was huge! We ate super
good lunch there! We also had our president interviews. It went good and
President Fluckiger is really nice.
All Types of Members:
Less-Active, Active, and Soon-to-be
But this week we went to teach a less active member, Neilsa, She said
that she didnt believe anymore and she had questions about Adam and Eve so we
gave her 2 Nehpi 2 to read. When we went to teach her again she wasnt there, so
we decided to teach her mom who is not a member. Then the next time we taught
the whole family together. We taught the plan of salvation and how families can
be together forever. Valhelia, the mom was so touched and said that she wanted
to be baptized. Then she asked how old you have to be baptized and said 8 and
she said "great so my son can be baptized too!!" Oh, it was so great!
:) So they are set to be baptized on the 22nd. They came to church. I am always
stressed at church when an investigator is there because I never know how they
are feeling about things! I am really bad at reading people. But they liked it
and she had questions about some of the commandments! Oh I really hope that
they get baptized! I know the gospel will bless their lifes so much!
Alieta was confirmed this week!! :) She is great! She has no money, but
she sacrifices to come! :) We still are teaching her.
Also last night we had family night with the family of that cute little girl that i sent a pic of! I love that family! They are inactive. We had pop corn and watched a movie :)
